As the title suggests, this mod adds a custom culture loosely based on the 11th century Norse culture. For now, it adds four village types and five lone buildings. Please note that this is a work in progress so pointing out bugs is appreciated. I hope you guys enjoy!
Thanks to Matthewj and MoonCutter by the way for helping with the bugs and for their suggestions. This addon would've remained a buggy mess without them. Thanks also to Babouchka_ for volunteering to give French translations. Message me on the Millenaire discord if you want to provide translations for other languages.
===INSTRUCTIONS===
After unpacking the file and after you have opened the folder, you should see another folder and a .jar file. Just put the viking_culture folder in minecraft\mods\millenaire-custom\mods and paste the .jar file into your minecraft mod folder. The mod already contains all of the skins so don't worry about having to use a resourcepack.
* Make sure you create a new world after updating. Old worlds which have villages from an older version might break if you load an update.

I would love to see an update on this. I love the work you have done so far. If you ever need help with surnames as I can't mod my way out of a paper bag, I can help with names, history and other factors. I'm a follower of Asatru, would love to see this updated with more buildings and features.

I could definitely use some help from you, maybe you can make suggestions for buildings, names, and dialogues on the millenaire discord server in the community-content channel and hopefully make stuff more historically accurate. I've only recently decided to begin working on this again and I might need some guidance on what to do next. So yeah, I'd be very thankful for your help and I'll make sure to give credit for your contributions

I'm new to modding, so I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how to open the millenaire.jar file. I can't seem to find any tutorial that helps. Edit: I wrote this fast so I wasn't specific. I want to know how to put the textures from the "Viking" folder into the game
