6.0.2 beta release - fix for "I'll be right there!" bug

Postby Kinniken » Sun Jan 07, 2018 6:03 pm

Hi guys,

Quick public beta for a new small release :
- Fix for infamous looping "I'll be right there!" bug
- Support for dark oak and acacia wood
- New Norman fort for Norman controlled villages (same design as the one released in 6.0.1)
- Small fixes to the new Norman fort and to the byzantine sheep farm
- Fix to the export of beds

Downloads:

http://millenaire.org/php/dl.php?file=M ... e6.0.2.zip
http://millenaire.org/php/dl.php?file=M ... r6.0.2.zip

I'll do a release on the homepage tomorrow if everything is fine.

K.

It would be great if people could test this, particularly the support for the new types of wood and the I'll be right there fix. Thanks!

I've had a quick look around and found on a new world all seems fine with at least Hindi buying both Dark Oak and Acacia logs, the only problem I found was using the update with an existing world where the market would only sell but not buy anything from me and some 'Error saving buildings' reports were made, I didn't check them because IRL I'm just a Builder and I wouldn't understand them anyway,

But as I said a new world seems to work just fine...

Cheers Kinn.

Breaking old worlds would be very bad... can I see those error logs? Everything should be in your mods/millenaire/millenaire.log file.

Thanks!

The log is 222k and I don't wanna fill up the thread... that would be bad manners, is there a way I can have it as a drop down thing? or should I start a thread named 'log' that nobody else will need to bother with.

I tried to add an attachment but got the message "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached"

in case you haven't read any of my posts I run the game through ATLauncher with a very modified modpack some 200 mods on board. so if it's my fault please don't shout at me

Thanks, I checked it out. Most of the errors seem to be linked to a Library culture, "minecraftia". Hard to say if there are errors not related to that.

Otherwise, I re-uploaded the files with the fix for the map of controlled Norman villages.

Yeah, thinking about it I suppose it could very well be that, I think I tried 6.0.1 without 'minecraftia' and then with it. I did see some Errors but as is my way I just continue right on anyway, so when 6.0.2 arrived I tired it on an 'old' save and was more concerned about the lack of trade than build errors.

you see Kinn, I'm a bit of an animal when it comes to my worlds, as near everything for me is Hardcore with no tree punching and if I'm a month in and fall to my death I just say.. grrr, and run another one up, I occasionally take pics of half completed builds cos I just know I'm gonna die...lol

as for the "I'll be right there" bug, it was just one of those things that I ignore... like the experience baubles that won't be picked up and just keep flying around your head, it's easy to quit and reload and it's fixed... no big deal for me.
the main thing is, it's a fantastic mod that I cannot see myself playing Minecraft without, and if we never get a newer release that I can add all my mods to then I'll happily continue with 1.7.10

Hello,
Sorry for my "little" english but I speak badly this language (I am french).
I play your mod for several years and I do not think minecraft without, it is fabulous so thank you.
I just redo an installation of this game in 1.12.2 and I find it difficult to understand if it is compatible or not, I have trouble understanding the topics that speak.
Version 6.0.2 that I just installed does not work, it does not load in the game. I have the latest version of Forge though.
Again thank you for this great mod and good luck!

The problem you are having is that Millenaire 6.0.2 is for Minecraft 1.7.10, so it won't load for 1.12 at all. You have to get a version of forge for the correct version of Minecraft, then it will work.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for the answer. I can not put an old version of forge because it will not be compatible with my other mods. I must wait until an update is made in 1.12, it's a shame .....

It's good to see some work being done on this great mod.

Will the new releases also be uploaded to curseforge?
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc ... aire/files

Also there are still a lot of releases missing on that curseforge page according to the version history
