[5.2.0b6] - Daytime lagg issue

Post by Robocop » Sat Apr 26, 2014 11:45 am

First i would like to thank everybody involved in making this mod.

Problem/bug:

Daytime lagg issue:
My game suddenly laggs during the daytime.
When the villagers go of to sleep, the game runs normal again.
Until they wake and the Huge lagg starts again.

Maybe this is a pathing problem?
Is there something i can do to help alleviate it? Is it a known problem? Is there a fix?

Thnx in Advance.

Minecraft with Forge 1.7.2
Forge 1056
Mapwriter 2 mod (not a problem)
Millenaire 5.2.0b6

I'd recommend updating to the most recent version of Millenaire (5.2.0, requires the latest Forge). After that, see if the problem persists.

Does it lag when millenaire villages are not loaded? To help lag, try installing optifine.

The main thing I could think of would be the increase of system use and processing during the daylight hours.

In other words, during the day the game is calculating actions for say, 30 villagers, whereas at night, none of this is going on. This may explain why the lag is in the day and not the night :)

Have you tried reducing video settings in Minecraft or using a smaller village, maybe player controlled? You can limit villages growth and size too in the options!

Thnx for replys

Ive reduced the
//Max Children Number; Maximum number of children a village can have. Default: 10.
to 5 in the options. That seems to do the trick.

Adjusting graphic options have no or minimal effects on my machine. I think my pc has more of a cpu or other bottleneck for this game.
I tried to install OptiFine_1.7.4_HD_U_D1 but minecraft doesn't start up then.
Maybe i'll try a different version later.

Thnx
