Texture packs for 1.6?

Post by Darkranger85 » Sat Oct 12, 2013 8:47 pm

Hey guys!

I stumbled onto your mod just today and it's exactly what I have been looking for to spice up my game.

However, and I mean no offense to the minecraft veterans, I cannot play minecraft on anything lower than 128x textures. I much prefer 256 though.

I've been googling and googling trying to find a texture pack that will work with MC 1.6.4 but I'm coming up short.

Do you guys know of any texture packs for this version?

I don't believe that anyone has made one yet as this mod doesn't fully support the new resource pack system.

Could try Chroma Hills HD pack, it has 128x textures. This pack is medieval and looks great with this mod.

Does this mod have a ton of new things that need textures?

Yes, literally hundreds. 506 different texture files to be exact.

I may of upset the last guy who made texture packs for this Mod? :?

I commented that I didn't like some the Japanese textures that well. Because they didn't look historical or something not right.

You can force the dynamic textures.
Go in the folder "C:\Users\"your user name"\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods\millenaire-jar-5.1.11\assets\millenaire\textures\items"
Rename the files ending by _64.png by deleting the _64
For instance, rename "boudin_64.png" inn "boudin.png" (it will overwrite the "boudin.png already existing)
Same thing with the folder "textures\blocks"

I use the texture pack purebdcraft which has a patch for millenaire that you can download here : http://bdcraft.net/forum/millenaire-textures-reborn
Same thing, you have to rename the files .png inthe zipped files, and copy them in the foldess "items" and "blocks" in the "C:\Users\"your user name"\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods\millenaire-jar-5.1.11\assets\millenaire\textures" folder.
