Config files

Post by ProsperCraft » Sat Aug 03, 2013 5:47 pm

Would it be possible to move the config files to the .minecraft/config folder to be more standard with other mods?

also along these same lines, could you please package it like other mods where you just place the .zip file in the /mods folder and it works without unzipping?

Then even a further step, make it so the jar is universal so client and server have the same file?

I agree with you that there should be a consistent way for mods to be installed. Until Mojang actually builds out an API mod authors will do what they feel best and what Java actually allows them to do. However, you should still probably post this on the Suggestions page: http://millenaire.org/wiki/Suggestions
