Phantom Village

I can't think of any other way to describe them.

Rarely, and when it's the first village, I'll get a message that village has generated. I'll hit "V" to get directions, but no matter how far I travel the distance to the village simply fluctuates between 200 and 180. I have traveled a thousand meters trying to find the village, but nothing.

This is not a recent issue either, because the same thing would happen back when this mod was available for beta minecraft.

So I was hoping that their might be a way to simply wipe away the phantom village. If that's not possible, will other villages still spawn while the phantom one is around?

Do you use any mods that makes new dimensions like Twilight Forest or Mystcraft?

Did you check using the Millenaire Chunk thingamajigger to see where the village is?
