Blank Signs, No NPCs

Hey guys, I installed 6.0.0 for both my server and client (with other mods, none affecting NPCs/villages) and was playing with it fine all day. Then suddenly, all NPC's disappeared and all signs became blank. I have been unable to recover from this, I tried a new world, re-installing the mod, nothing works. Any ideas?

Based on your description it sounds like somehow the village got deleted in the text files...

That shouldn't be able to happen?
