I would like to help to translate the Mayan dialogues.
I have a friend or two who know the dialect and could help me to translate.

I would only need to know where i can find the dialogues (in English because none of us knows French).

The dialogues are translated to English by myself, as its as well my main language.
I translate them from French (which is my partner's main language) as I am nearly fluent in the French language.

Wait, the dialogues are by default in Mayan?
Or you traduced it TO Mayan? ):
Because in the version I downloaded (5.1.1, i think), Mayans talk almost perfect English while Bizantynes talk in Greek, Normands in French and so.

I thought that there wasn't a default Mayan version of Mayan dialogues, and having the facilities, I wanted to help to translate the Mayan dialogue to Mayan.

I want to clarify if there's no Mayan version of the Mayan dialogues, I still want to translate them.

Oh! that's what you meant!
If you know how to translate into Mayan, go right for it. i can only do the English to French, French to English translation of the dialogues.

So yes! it would be great to have someone put this into Mayan :D

Yes, I would totally do the translation, but I don't know where are the default dialogues to translate them.

I've had good progress, but I've found some problems with the original dialogues. In-game-Mayans know more from the easter world that they should.

Well they do, but its because they have settled in the world for quite awhile.
Look at it relatively, They've been in the Mod for quite some time, so they must of picked up a few things ;)

Great! I had the whole Mayan dialogues translated to the language since a week, translating from English to Spanish, and then to Mayan with some dictionaries Mayan-Spanish; but i thought that the dialogues went a little rough, so I asked for a little help. It's ending better than I thought.

It's done.

I just want to know why vowels with accents (á, é, í, ó, and ú), and interrogation/exclamation begining signs ( ¿ and ¡) appear like illegible characters. ):

If I have to erase accents or those signs, there's no problem, the dialogues are logical anyway; but if there's other way to make them legible, I'm open to ideas.

No, accents work fine (see the game in French, Spanish ect.). In fact even non-latin scripts like Chinese or Russian work fine.

If you are having issues most likely your files are not in UTF8. If you are using PSPad (I recommend it and it's free), open your files, and in the format menu check it's set to UTF8. Then it should work.

No, I did it all in Notepad. I downloaded PSPad and changed it to UTF8. It's done. : )

If you check the Mayan dialogue files in the new release not all of them are translated. I think some new ones had been done after you started working on them. Either that or I missed some work you had done.

But it's already great to have most of them done :)

Read around that Millenaire is being worked for 1.8.9, and villages come next.

Would have mayan dialogues ready in a week, or two.
