If you really want to you can though, if it still works like it used to once it has generated you can reconnect and then everything works fine.

Actually it's because it takes a really long time to generate. Long enough that on a server clients could get disconnected during the generation.

Ticlon, are you sure you are using the latest test release? That Byzantine thing was a clear bug I fixed in the public beta.

I'm aware of the chat colour bug. Not sure how to fix it though...

I've just put up a beta that fixes the problems listed above.

For the map issue, you need the latest Forge, not the recommended version.

I'm using the latest Forge, not the recommanded one. Can you try with that one?

For the new wood types I'll look into it but after the debugging is done ;)

I know the cause of the lumberman and kiln ones, should be easy to fix.

The ones with the dialogues and the Byzantine textures not showing are weird... Both work fine for me. What version of Forge are you using?

For the crash one, I'll need a log.

Fixed. It was indeed linked to the builder, when trying to place some blocks (doors in particular).

The links above point to the new version.

Unfortunately I can't load your world because I don't have those mods (and getting them to run in Forge dev mode would be tricky). I'll try and leave a village running and see if it happens to me too.

Judging by where the error occurs what matters is that the villager in question is active. Being close is not a criteria. If it happens with a specific world, can you post it somewhere? I'll need to reproduce it to fix it.

Please do as much testing as possible, and systematically if possible (all items, all village types, all GUIs, the creation quests ect...). Don't tell me there are no bugs, I've seen a few myself ;)

Merci :) For Millénaire blocks basically I had grouped them by "material" to save ids (back when it mattered). So there's one wood, one stone, one pane, etc. Nothing stricter. What JSON format?

Nothing changes when it comes to integrating other mods except that you need to provide their block/item names and not the ids. The only benefit is that there is no longer a risk of id clash.

Just a quick update: I'm continuing work on the 1.7 upgrade, but it's slow work. To give a very rough idea, I've gotten the compilation errors from around 2000 at the start to around 900. And once that's over there's probably a lot of other adjustments to do. So don't expect something too soon... Al...

If you check the Mayan dialogue files in the new release not all of them are translated. I think some new ones had been done after you started working on them. Either that or I missed some work you had done.

But it's already great to have most of them done :)

Your character issues are not weird at all, "standard DOS files" indeed won't work. The Minecraft standard (and really the world standard by now) is UTF8.

Use PSPad and you can set it yourself to the right one.

And great to see the German translation progressing fast!

No, accents work fine (see the game in French, Spanish ect.). In fact even non-latin scripts like Chinese or Russian work fine. If you are having issues most likely your files are not in UTF8. Tools, armor and weapon efficiency

Hi guys,

The way the efficiency of tools, armor and weapons work in Minecraft has changed somewhat in 1.6 and as a result I believe some of the Millénaire ones are off. Anybody willing to do in-game testing on how good they now are compared to the vanilla ones?
