I've noticed that villagers sometimes change skin when the server is restarted or a singleplayer world is restarted.

I've noticed it so far with Mayan Women, Norman Miners and Norman Merchants. I didn't think this happened before but it might have.

I've noticed Norman Miners don't seem to cook sand or cobblestone. They'll collect it and store it. I've tested this with Glass and Stone being required for a construction but they seem to still avoid cooking the materials. Seems to be a bit of a bug when using it as a server. It just crashes when trying to startup. Beta 1 still works fine however.

Yeah as stated above you can clearly see the difference between player controlled and noncontrolled ones. For Normans the "Gros Bourg" is the non player controlled one. You installed it right, im sure of it.
It has been a long time bug that guards won't patrol, been happening ever since the mod became multiplayer i think.
And i've never seen people use the watchtower and i've been using it before version 1.0

Found something:
The items are put into the merchant's inventory and he never gives them to the Shop or Inn.

Also he'll remove any items from the inn's chests and hold on to them..

Byzantine boots are worn as a helmet by villagers. Norman Leggings are worn as a Chestplate. *These only affect the villagers, not players. In a Hindi Village, the peasants are unable to plant rice, and will go into a loop of attempting to plant rice on a block without success.
Also they won't even go near Turmeric farms. They act like it doesn't exist.

Hmm bizzare that the textures do that for you..
My only thought is that maybe they fail to load sometimes, and i've just been lucky that it didn't happen yet.
I have the issue with the text too. It gets super confusing when a bunch of villagers are chatting :lol:

People don't seem to wear Norman armor properly. He should be wearing a helmet and leggings.
It still adds to his armor points on the military sign however.

Found something! Japanese, and possibly others, have a hard time planting Rice. They keep trying but the land never gets Tilled first. EDIT: The land is tilled, but the rice can't be placed on it causing an infinite loop of them trying to plant it. It's minor, but the villagers never want to use any...

A great alternative to this would be to allow cheats, go into creative mode, spawn the villages you want using the summoning wand and gold blocks. After they've spawned in the locations you wanted, go back into survival and play on! :D

Make sure the village has more alcohol (Cider, Calva, Sake) and/or Sweets (choco drink, Cake, cookies, rasgulla.)

and then make sure it has other food, like bread, tripes etc. for the children to grow faster.
