Hey guys, Culture Dev Byzantines here. You are right, we are more active on discord than here and the server is free to join for everybody. Re: Let's Talk About Culture Balance
My thoughts on the village stone are: Why not incorporate it into the townhall? It used to do all the storing before and is the Center of the villages in a lot of cases, like my Byzantine Town Square or the Norman castle. It serves as start point for path systems as well and is the biggest meeting p...

Re: Galian's weekly Update Post
Great news! Even though custom buildings will be missed... I do not know if this is the right place here, but regarding inter-cultural exchange and trade I remember a talk I had to Kinniken a few years ago. On the long-run it was planned to have the villages form new empires or kingdoms by trade and...

Technically, it launched an invisible short-range projectile to kno...

Re: Millénaire for Minecraft 1.8 - status update
For the clothing system: I bet Kinniken implemented it in the rendering files of the villager models. Basically, it lays a second skin over the normal one to get the Byzantines start out with brown, boring clothing and later, when they get their hands on new materials, colourful clothing. As I only ...

Re: Millénaire for Minecraft 1.8 - status update

Hey,
Those _64 textures are automatically used if you use a ressource pack with a higher resolution than at least 64x64. You can change this in the settings though.
For your work, if the texture pack is 64x64+, I would replace both

Why I chose to Not do it this way is that Most of the people I know want to help a special culture. This way, they dont have to cheat a wand and Gold block but instead are able to look for the Type of village they want.
But I agree to your placement as well, because of more diversity in biomes.

The easiest way is to just go to

and move the folders of the cultures you don't want to spawn in Minecraft anywhere else, or just delete them.

Go to mods/millenaire/cultures/<culture>/lonebuildings/<banditbuilding>.txt
Change in this file the line: 'weight:x' to some higher value. E.g. weight:5 to weight:20.
The higher the value, the more likely to spawn this building.
But I would first look around the lands, I see them spawning a lot
